Learn more: Cryptocurrency Trading Signals Services There seems to be a lot of talk in the world of cryptocurrency when it comes to investment. There are many individuals who choose to get their information from blogs and social media, but there are some sources that can be better than others without a doubt. This article is […]

Developed in April 2011, Namecoin was the first-ever altcoin. Apart from being a currency, Namecoin’s chief purpose was to fully decentralize the process of registering domain names. Through Namecoin’s robust ecosystem, the internet’s censorship has become difficult. Once placed among the top ten cryptocoins, Namecoin remained a successful investment option throughout its short-lived popularity.

You might buy in to your Ethereum position at $1000, you set your sell position $1300. Your sell order could take days, weeks, months, years or till the end of time to be filled. Once it has been filled, you then take that profit and you roll it over in to a new buy over at, say, $1100. Choosing good targets for your buy and sell orders is crucial if you want to be a successful swing trader but overall swing trading cryptocurrency is pretty easy – set your orders and then just wait. The market is so volatile that big movements up and down are pretty common and you can capitalise on this through swing trading. I recommend choosing a group of coins to be in and then sticking to swing trading in those coins rather than jumping constantly between different cryptocurrencies – it does help to have an understanding of what different coins do and how much volatility can be expected and you will gain that understanding with time. Good luck!

When someone buys cryptocurrency from a centralized exchange — I’m going to stick with Bitcoin (BTC) as an example — they swap fiat money for the nominated BTC. But that coin doesn’t get sent to the customer. If it’s bought from a non-exchange seller, then it comes into the exchange’s own wallet, and gets held there. A ledger entry is made, and the customer gets an IOU. If the seller is on the same exchange platform, no BTC even needs to be shifted, the exchange simply changes its accounts to note one less BTC for the seller, one more for the buyer.

Insinuating that learning trading skills, how to read market graphs properly, predicting highs and lows and making money is as easy as a few bucks and logging on to the internet reads like a misinformed person.

Binance is a cryptocurrency exchange with a focus on the Chinese market and other Chinese coins. Currently, it supports English and Chinese users. The Binance token (BNB) was created during the ICO event to fund the development of the Binance exchange.

Thanks for posting the article and super informative video! I just got into trading cryptocurrencies back in May. Started with Bitcoin & Ethereum but have recently made the cross over into trading alt-coins on Poloniex, Bittrex and Cryptopia. I’m interested to get into some swing trading and have a Coinigy account but find the site overwhelmingly complex. Your video really helped me understand what’s important in a trading platform and helping me to lay a good foundation. Thanks! 🙂

Trend trading is conducted through extensive technical analysis which includes the analysis of both chart patterns and technical indicators. When a trend is indicated, a trader is better able to forecast where the price is likely to move, and by how much it might move. However, determining trends through technical analysis is not the single indicator for future price movements. Things like risk management and trading psychology must be taken into consideration as well.

Why? Because the people that didn’t cash out during the pump (called “bag holders”) don’t want to sell their coin at the bottom, at a much lower price. It goes without saying that if the price of a coin you’ve bought moves upward quickly, it’s best to cash out, back into Bitcoin. And If it’s a good coin that you want to invest in for the long term, make sure you buy back in after a dump. Sometimes it is better to focus on accumulating good coins rather than making more Bitcoin, because a good coin will always rise again.

Besides the trivial cost and expense aspect of choosing the best exchange for day trading, it also worth to consider the additional features an exchange can offer and the user-friendly interface of the platform.

Try coinsign.com, they do bank wire for high end investors. they dont have limits on sending wire. the verification is being made faster, and the email notification for each step is very useful. i have made some few transactions, send it vis SEPA, and it works. they actually do not keep balance, they are brokerage that send the BTC to the wallet directly. so far i didnt have any issues with the limits or the bank wire. worth trying.

Cryptocurrency Trading is an alternative way to get involved in the Crypto-World! It doesn’t require mining hardware nor investing in bitcoin hyips or bitcoin cloud mining (which always has risk involved in their integrity).

This mega-powerful currency has not only opened the gate for other currencies, but also leads the cryptocurrency world with pride. It is governed to make sure no extra Bitcoin is produced, as a maximum quantity of 21 Million Bitcoin units was agreed. When introduced, the price of $1 was 1,309 BTC. The wheel has turned, and when Bitcoin breached the $2,000 barrier in 2017, meaning 1 BTC was worth $2,000, it was certainly a meaningful milestone to Satoshi Nakamoto, the creator of Bitcoin.

Digital currency trading marks the first paid product, other than trading on margin, for Robinhood, which made a name for itself by letting anyone buy and sell small amounts of stock without fees. The company said it’ll only charge for cryptocurrency transactions to recoup the costs associated with trading the assets and won’t take a commission. Robinhood plans to roll out the option gradually and hopes to have it available to customers in most U.S. states by midyear.

Many of the startups dealing in crypto are upstarts with questionable track records. But five-year-old Robinhood has raised $176 million from investors including Andreessen Horowitz, Index, and NEA that now value the company at $1.3 billion. There’s clear long-term benefit to rolling up crypto traders and using the feature as a wedge to get them to hold money with Robinhood where it earns interest, and pay for the Robinhood Gold premium tier for $6 to $200 a month that lets them borrow between $1,000 and $50,000.

I has been try day trading of cryptocurrency in a few month but hard for me to reach consisten profit because iam not patient. Now i prefer doing long term trading because can be more easy and more profitable than day trading. So day trading can be profitable only for trader who has enough skill and always patient.

While there are people that state that investing in general is just gambling this is not really the case. Investment that are  long-term. And broad investments are very different from  active trading and more speculative investment, in the short term format it can go either way , like forex or retail commodity trading and cryptocurrencies trading falls into that category.

In addition to Robinhood Crypto, the company announced the launch of Robinhood Feed, a social media-type platform which will enable investors to discuss different cryptocurrencies, news surrounding the space and the markets in real-time.

It’s important to realise that you need to do your own research and come up with your own strategy for cryptocurrency trading. If you are short on time and want to play it safe; the easiest cause of action is to simply diversify into several different coins and then wait a year or more. However, if you want to maximise profits you should learn how to swing trade cryptocurrency. I strongly recommend swing trading over day trading – day trading is stressful, time consuming and only really profitable if you have a lot of money to play with. Swing trading involves trying to capture large movements in the market – for example, you might decide that you want to net a profit of 30% on Ethereum…

Lol well don’t we have a little Dogecoin defender on our hands. Sorry bud, but Dogecoin started as a joke and it will continue to be a joke. All cryptos serve a purpose in the sense that they can and hopefully will be an official alternative to a centralized monetary system. However, there are also coins out there that were designed for a specific purpose. For instance, PotCoin was designed to be other official currency for the Pot industry. It’s already accepted by over 3,000 dispensaries nationwide and growing. Mazacoin was created as the official currency for the Traditional Lakota Nation. Those are just a couple examples out of a bunch. Dogecoin, however, started as a joke and will continue to be a joke unless they step up their game.

You can, and I have. Not everyday but somedays I can turn around a couple hundred by buying on 1 exchange and selling on another, Doge made me a killing buying on Cryptsy for .0000021 and selling on Vircurex for .0000028 2 weeks ago. You have to be naturally good at math, IMO to be profitable and also realise when is the smartest time to cash out. Ex: Solarcoin hit Allcrypt last week, my buddy had 40,000 he sold for .0000005 a piece to make .338. I held for 2 days, and I sold 40,000 for 1 BTC. I could of been shit out of luck and it crashed but I put a little bit of faith into it and it turned out well. Most pricing, and information on altcoins is speculative so you must remember and guide your choices with the idea that it is just speculation (So as to not think everything will always go as plan, and that every investment will prosper)

Hello my lovely Crypto-Family! The 24 hour-ban from yesterday has just made D4rkEnergY even more thirsty after spreading love and wisdom to you guys! So not the greatest days in trading, D4 sighs. Once again Bitcoin has come home drunk and has smashed half the furniture and beaten up poor ETH and all the little coins. One of the top altcoins is not having it …

The beautiful part of a blockchain is that you aren’t limited to just using it with Bitcoin. In fact, many other online currencies and representations of digital value have started using blockchain as a method to prevent unfair transactions. The best part is that you don’t need to know anything about the way it works, simply plug it in and watch it do its magic. However, having a general understanding of the blockchain gives you the ability to fully comprehend the security and stability that blockchains bring to the table.

Thanks for this, so my story: I’m new and have been using Coinbase then suddenly was told I need to verify ID to continue buying. I’ve tried several times but have been unsuccessful, most likely because I recently moved from California to New Mexico. And as everyone knows their customer service is virtually non existent. So I’ve been trying to sign up with several other exchanges but keep getting told they don’t do business in New Mexico. I guess I’ll just keep trying exchanges until I don’t get rejected…unless you know of ones that do business in New Mexico.

Agreed. There are lots of “teachers” who have an agenda to milk students. I’m just a trader, I don’t want your money. And I don’t want to b a teacher. But I make money everyday in the markets, and why should I keep that to myself. I’m happy to share, and in my opinion, there has never been a bigger opportunity for a trader than Cryptoland!! (as I call it)

Huobi and OKEX, formerly two of the largest cryptocurrency exchanges in the Chinese market prior to the government’s ban on cryptocurrency trading, relocated immediately after the ban on cryptocurrency trading was imposed in October 2017 to Hong Kong to serve both Chinese investors and international traders. Almost immediately after the two exchanges migrated to Hong Kong, Huobi and OKCoin experienced a massive surge in daily trading volume and demand.

The word “altcoin” is shortened from alternative cryptocurrency coin. A large share of these altcoins is a variant of Bitcoin. Altcoins are built using Bitcoin’s original, open-source protocol with certain modifications to its underlying code. With the changes done to the code, a fresh coin is conceived with a new set of features. Some examples of altcoins include Peercoin, Litecoin, Dodgecoin, Auroracoin, and Namecoin.
