Day trading takes time, patience and dedication. When I was day trading stocks in 2012/2013, it consumed a lot of my time. When day trading you are looking for a point to enter a trade and a point to exit a trade. The goal is to use the information you have alongside the charts to find an opportunity to make a profit. You may hold a trade for a matter of minutes, hours or days. Rarely though are you long term investing. Your investment timescale is usually based on the signals the charts are giving you.
As you can see, there are many different cryptocurrencies out there and each one of them offers something different. They were all created with certain criteria or functionality in mind, and many more developers continue generating new and improved functions amongst the existing cryptocurrencies, as well as generating new ones to satisfying the ever demanding users.
Embrace volatility – Cryptocurrencies are famously volatile. The price of Bitcoin, for example, went from $3,000 down to $2,000 and then leapt up to nearly $5,000, all within three months in 2017. Whilst this means risk is high, it also means the potential for profit is great too. It’s always sensible to check the volatility of the exchange you decide to go with.
A blockchain is a big decentralized digital ledger that records every single transaction involving a specific cryptocurrency. Because a blockchain is the underlying technology backing every cryptocurrency, it is important to understand this technology in order to understand cryptocurrencies.
One of the Blockchain projects it has partnered with is Bluzelle, a Singapore-based Blockchain protocol targeting the deployment of decentralized Internet. Bluzelle, known for its swarm technology that enables groups of nodes to store tiny pieces of information, has already built Blockchain-based applications for many of the world’s large conglomerates such as Microsoft, HSBC, MUFG, KPMG, and ZagBank.
Tsang added that the explosive growth rate of the Hong Kong cryptocurrency market fueled by the migration of investors from the mainland to Hong Kong led local cryptocurrency exchanges to expand at a rapid rate, as seen in the rise of OKEx and Huobi.
Robinhood is also allowing users to track the price of a number of other cryptocurrencies including Ripple and Litecoin, although the actual trading feature will only be available for Bitcoin and Ethereum.
Bitcoin is great and I’m definitely going to be making use for it in the near future, however, trading it back-n-forth is something I’m not interested in. The whole idea of Bitcoin is to get away from this fraudulent system presently controlled by the banksters. The banksters, and their never-ending bailouts and market manipulation, has destroyed any confidence of an ordinary investor smart enough to stay away from them. The entire global financial financial system, starting with Wall Street/City of London should be reorganized in bankruptcy court and every bankster responsible for architecture of QE TARP ZIRP 0% unlimited bailouts should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law and incarcerated.
For a lazy investor, building a Cryptocurrency portfolio is perfect – spread your investment across 5 – 20 coins, protect your investment properly (more on that in a moment), and then just sit back and wait a couple of years.
Secondly, the factors involved with trading Bitcoin are completely different than those on a traditional exchange network. Fees, regulations, limitations…every single one of these points are completely different from using any other fiat currency or stock exchange system. Furthermore, all of these points have to be taken into account when deciding how much to buy or sell or when to buy or sell. Then there are the different ways you can purchase Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies, and the multiple different ways you can sell that same currency. The only resemblance between fait currency exchange and cryptocurrency exchange is that just like choosing which software to use for trading stocks and fiat currencies, you will have to choose a cryptocurrency exchange platform.
No-commission stock trading app Robinhood will let you buy and sell Bitcoin and Ethereum without any added transaction fees starting in February, compared to Coinbase’s 1.5 to 4 percent fees in the US. By combining the two best parts of each, it is the merged toolkit for building trusted decentralized applications geared towards a business friendly blockchain. Those following the digital currency can now agree on a platform that offers direction.
Take a look at the top 5 coins on CoinMarketCap. One of these is not like the other. Ripple is nearly $500 dollars less than the next highest coin. Why is this? Ripple is a legitimate institution? They’ve seemingly got the right sector — banking? Why $0.25 per coin?
Buying more coins to expand your cryptocurrency portfolio is a smart idea – the more you diversify, the better your chance of hitting a coin that goes to the moon. I do however recommend keeping at least 60% of your portfolio in relatively safe coins like Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin and Monero.
Since many of the uses are still in the shadow it is perceived as a way to stay under the radar for less kosher deals, it needs to become a legit means of payment for everyday life and business to succeed.

So, let’s put everything on the table. ICOs are essentially coins which you get by supplying someone with currently successful crypto coins so that they have a chance to make new future proof and even more successful coins. It seems silly, but somehow these ICO transactions are actually making a huge buzz in the cryptocurrency world. It is estimated that nearly $240 million has already been invested into such ICOs, of which about $110 million was invested this year. Surely there is a reason for such a huge movement of money? We think that people are constantly searching for that new and shiny cryptocurrency that will inevitably become the world currency system, and perhaps this is the reason why investments into this research are so high. Some of you might say that the potential is already there via Bitcoin or some other already released currency, but the reality is that not everyone is on the same page. Those of us who are so called non-conformists might be looking for something special in other places.
I care what you hear somewhere, but you will always learn the most from practice. That is the truth. And in order to gain experience in day trading cryptocurrencies, you have to open a trading account. It does not have to be a real account if you don’t have a trading background, a free demo account will suffice. We also compare the most recognised brokers in the industry and their offer so you could pick a company depending on your needs.
Cryptocurrencies are encrypted digital currencies which are transferred between peers. They are decentralized, meaning not governed by any bank or government institution. They are a sequence of encrypted codes transmitted and stored over a network. All transactions are confirmed and stored on a public ledger. The system uses other complex techniques to certify and validate the record keeping process. Lack of regulation for cryptocurrencies mean that they are highly volatile by nature, and an investment with this can make a lot of money fast, and at the same time it can turn and one can lose money fast. The reason it is not yet accepted by a lot of businesses is partly due to the lack of regulation. There is a set amount of digital coins that can be created and which was outlined from the beginning, after that number is reached no further coins can be produced. The reality is such, that Bitcoin and digital currencies prices rise and drop for various reasons such as media and bad press, news events, and government statements, more people are using it and for this reason the price is rising. Their unpredictability makes it exciting for most traders. Moving forward there are discussions on how to manage the currencies and that in itself can swing the price.
The first reason is that 1% is manageable. Most cryptocurrencies are moving up and down by 1% every hour. The wild bull runs are hard to find, hard to time properly, and easy to go in the opposite direction where you lose a lot.
Once you’ve bought and sold a few bitcoin on Coinbase, you should graduate to the big leagues. Coinbase’s more advanced trading platform is called the Global Digital Asset Exchange (GDAX). It uses the same login and password as Coinbase, and you can easily transfer currency between the two platforms, which is really convenient. The GDAX features a pretty interface with real-time pricing data, order book, charting tools, trade history, and a simple buy/sell order process so you can at least pretend to be a pro.
Isn’t there something out there in place to protect my potentially fake investment? Truth be told, you are sort of out of luck. You see, most of these ICO coin tokens are designed in a way that marks them as ‘software presale tokens.’ So essentially, your ICO coins are no different than a video game token that you bought before it launched. The main reason many developers choose to address their new currency in such a way is to avoid paying all the expenses that come alongside legal sales. In a similar matter, a developer of a newfound cryptocurrency might choose to say that his or her investors are ‘donating’ coins to their cause and what not. So while this is completely acceptable and falls under the same reasoning for why Bitcoin was invented in the first place, to decentralize and stop all the crazy fees that go into making these investments happen, it’s still relatively questionable.
Overall cryptocurrencies can change the financial world, and for the moment it is all still being worked on. Users of these coins still do need to remain aware of their limitations and volatility for the time being and foreseeable future.
