Buying more coins to expand your cryptocurrency portfolio is a smart idea – the more you diversify, the better your chance of hitting a coin that goes to the moon. I do however recommend keeping at least 60% of your portfolio in relatively safe coins like Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin and Monero.

This isn’t a decision to take lightly. Do the maths, read reviews and trial the exchange and software first. Coinbase is widely regarded as one of the most trusted exchanges, but trading cryptocurrency on Bittrex is also a sensible choice. CEX.IO, Coinmama, Kraken and Bitstamp are other popular options.

Park didn’t give details on when the bill would be introduced in parliament. But his comments prompted bitcoin to fall sharply. The digital currency, which is known for its volatility, dropped around 14% before recovering slightly in early afternoon trading in Asia.

Well are there even tax laws that are in effect now in crypto trading? In exchanges perhaps but for traders i don’t think so. Unless people would be willing to disclose their information when registering on an exchange, pretty much how south korea is planning to regulate crypto.

The trading platform is the software with which you actually will trade the cryptocurrencies. It is the place where you will open and close your trades and is the most important aspect for your success. If the platform does not perform the way you want or does not provide you with the tools you think you need then this is not the right broker for you.

If you are serious about cryptocurrency trading, I strongly recommend finding a mastermind group that suits your skill level and budget so that you can improve your knowledge, expose yourself to less risk, and gain access to news and tips before they hit the mainstream market – this is where the real money is to be made.

Influential entrepreneur Richard Branson talks about STK (Stack) on his blog. Cryptocurrencies are new to a lot of people. Allowing payment transactions in day-to-day life using cryptocurrency has been a significant problem in the past. There are a few issues that need to be solved in order to make the

Think trading stocks, but better. Why? Tiny commissions, markets open 24/7, simpler charts, and more accessibility. You can start trading with $5 and if this year is anything like 2017, you could virtually turn that into any number you want.

For elite traders there is always a good opportunity to earn daily profit with day trading as they don’t always watch only one single coin and don’t go through any fixed strategy or loss/profit margin. While most of the new day trader loss so much trying to put their all bankroll in one single coin in margin trading with which even with small opposite market move they can loss all they have put into.

Another thing I need to make clear is the type of trading I do – day trading. My base currency is Bitcoin, which I use to buy Altcoins like Ethereum, ZCash, Golem, etc. When I make a trade to buy an Altcoin with BTC, I could end up selling the Altcoin back for BTC within a matter of minutes or hours. All of my profits are converted back into BTC at the end of each trading day.

I was considering learning how to day-trade so that I can profit from price fluctuations of Bitcoin, Litecoin, Ethereum, Ripple and Bitcoin Cash. I feel that I can make a lot more money than trading stocks or commodities because the fluctuations are so much greater.

JD.com vice president Bowen Zhou emphasized that projects within the company’s Blockchain incubator will be given opportunities to test their technologies and integrate their core Blockchain platform into the existing infrastructure of JD.com.

Yeah … I’m going to +1 this. I’ve lost some money (not on an outright scam) in this arena. There are some very interesting developments (Ethereum, Cryptonote) that I believe will effect the future. But 99.95% of this place is crawling with people who are in the know long before the news hits who are guaranteed to no lose money.

I looked into penny stocks as well, but did not have the 25k needed to truly day trade. I have an account with Polo and now on OpenLedger (because why not use an exchange on the block chain right?) Do you invest in any coins, or is it all day trading?

So how do you know if you should invest in an ICO? It’s not about science, it is important to pay attention to the level of seriousness of the project and its team. Look for the project’s website (does it look like a child has built it during computer school?), Who is the team behind the project – Are they hiding behind nicknames or proudly present themselves on their website? Pay attention to the Bitcointalk thread (does it exist at all?) and how the team members respond to technical questions. Is there a large community behind the project? Expect to see a Slack gathering its community. Watch out the amount raised: A project which had raised too little will probably will not be able to develop over time, a project which had raised huge amount – there won’t be enough investors left out there to buy coins on exchanges. And most importantly is risk management. Never put all eggs in one basket and invest too much of your portfolio in one ICO.

The path to cryptocurrencies began in the 1980s. To protect the cash of gas stations and small shops, banks started developing and pushing the concept of point of sale. According to this idea, the customers were allowed to use a credit card in place of cash to buy products.

I am not trying to spread FUD, I am involved in business that utilizes Bitcoin. I am a supporter of what this next-generation technology can and will do. What I am not a supporter of and seek to reason in people is their inability to see the forest the trees. From a non-financial perspective, Bitcoin is worthless to the general public (John Q public likes it because you can make a ton of money trading it, not because it represents something greater for the advancement of this and other countries in their financial sectors and future business en devours).

Bitcoin is always going to be one of the best performing cryptocurrencies in the future to trade. Check out my blog for a guide for the best Bitcoin trading strategies in terms of timing since there’s a lot of volatility due to the hard fork.

If it is so risky to invest through the use of ICOs, then why is on the rise and why are so many people trying to make a profit this way? Many predict that the boom in ICO sales is primarily due to the huge amount of return that was made by the early Ethereum adopters, making ICOs seem pretty desirable.

Most cryptocurrencies can only be bought on trading exchanges and not on Coinbase and some cryptocurrencies are only available on one or two exchanges. Because of this, I personally am active on multiple exchanges.
