Lack of regulation for cryptocurrencies mean that they are highly volatile by nature, and an investment with this can make a lot of money fast, and at the same time it can turn and one can lose money fast. The reason it is not yet accepted by a lot of businesses is partly due to the lack of regulation.
The Wolf is a fast, aggressive trader and that matches nicely with my personal style. His calls regularly make me tons of money. A question you have to ask of all traders is “are they right?” Nobody is right all the time. In fact, even the best of the best are wrong more than they’re right. The greatest traders make their money on 20% of their trades. The rest of our trades make only modest gains or loses.
Take Tron, which leapt some 90% in a day after its founder issued a vague tweet about upcoming partnerships. On the other hand, announcements of regulation, legitimacy, security breaches or technical issues can send prices plummeting to the ground.
You might be dreaming of the feel of the steering wheel of your first Ferrari right now but before getting started on your first trade, you should come to terms with the proven risks associated with day trading:
Ignore Biased Sources. These are where pump and dump schemes and other unscrupulous behavior happen in real time. Many people who post on websites that cater to crypto traders are fishing for suckers, posting misinformation and rumors and hoping investors will fall for it. Don’t play into their hands; seek advice through trusted and unbiased sources, and make your investing decisions accordingly.
NOTE: take volatility into consideration. The beta indicator will help you to decide an appropriate stop-loss. This saves you from absorbing a loss when anticipated fluctuations in price occur before the upward price movement you anticipated.

Bitcoin has been the word on everyone’s lips for the past few months, as the cryptocurrency has hit record highs. It has more than doubled since October and is now trading around $11,000, though down from its high just shy of $20,000 in December.
My favorite trading book is Rule the Freakin’ Markets by Michael Parness… I don’t use any of his strategies but he really has the right attitude about trading and he grows a fairly small account into a huge account. His method involves trading a lot of blue chip stocks, earning plays and news type trades. All of that is good trading but you can expend a lot of time making very little if you don’t think in percentages.. That’s one of the biggest lessons for a new trader, or perhaps one of the reasons so many traders fail.. you have to find markets to trade where your swings are in big percentages.. 30-50% swings or even more.. it leaves a lot of room for error and still end up in a good profit.. ill make an entire new post on this subject, and a video .. this is why cryptoland is so awesome, right now, the swings are huge..
Just like in Forex, their price flow is defined for the most part by market demand and thanks to the complicated code involved cryptocurrencies are impossible to counterfeit. They do make for a rewarding albeit uncertain investment endeavour. The long term results are still unknown but cryptocurrencies are only growing in popularity and for the immediate future they are here to stay and will most probably thrive.
When someone buys cryptocurrency from a centralized exchange — I’m going to stick with Bitcoin (BTC) as an example — they swap fiat money for the nominated BTC. But that coin doesn’t get sent to the customer. If it’s bought from a non-exchange seller, then it comes into the exchange’s own wallet, and gets held there. A ledger entry is made, and the customer gets an IOU. If the seller is on the same exchange platform, no BTC even needs to be shifted, the exchange simply changes its accounts to note one less BTC for the seller, one more for the buyer.

The other two currencies I would pay attention to are Ethereum (~40% the size of Bitcoin, also known as “Ether”), and the smaller and more volatile Ripple and Litecoin. Despite a smaller market cap, Litecoin enjoys higher trading volume than Bitcoin Cash and Ripple, likely because it’s one of the three currencies accepted by the #1 digital currency wallet, Coinbase.
As an ardent supporter of honest hard money, it was at first difficult for me to grasp Bitcoin. If I can’t hold it in my hand, how can it be real? After hour long conversations with my friend who preordered a mining unit a year and a half before its manufacture, he had convinced me of one of the values of Bitcoin – that it is tied to real work and is finite.
Take a look at the top 5 coins on CoinMarketCap. One of these is not like the other. Ripple is nearly $500 dollars less than the next highest coin. Why is this? Ripple is a legitimate institution? They’ve seemingly got the right sector — banking? Why $0.25 per coin?
Trend trading is conducted through extensive technical analysis which includes the analysis of both chart patterns and technical indicators. When a trend is indicated, a trader is better able to forecast where the price is likely to move, and by how much it might move. However, determining trends through technical analysis is not the single indicator for future price movements. Things like risk management and trading psychology must be taken into consideration as well.
From then, people began to attach value to Bitcoin. On 12 October 2009, the #bitcoin-dev channel was registered on freenode IRC, a network for discussing free and open source development communities. On 16 December 2009, the Bitcoin version 0.2 was officially released and on 6 February 2010, a currency exchange was born. The world saw the first Bitcoin Market established by dwdollar as a Bitcoin currency exchange. On 18 February 2010, encryption patent was published.

Over Labor Day weekend (Sept 2017), needing a break from my startup Harvey, I had the choice of binge watching Narcos 3 on Netflix or taking a deep dive into cryptocurrencies. Since learning about the impressive $100M fundraise by Coinbase at a $1.6B valuation, I was been eager to understand their product suite a little better and discover where there might be a new income opportunities, so I jumped in and went deep.
After a few months I got better at trading. I was earning more Bitcoin than I needed to cover my monthly expenses. At the end of the month I sold only what I needed, and kept the rest of my net worth in Bitcoin. Around this time in my trading career it was getting to the point where I could have bought a Tesla or put a down payment on a house by selling my Bitcoin.
How does that sound? I think it would be helpful to anyone who is new to trading and wants to grow a small account into a bigger one. (or a huge one) Trading is not really that hard to understand, its really all chart reading and controlling your emotions. Everyone else buys and sells, reacting to the news or a rumor or some price move or a friends hot tip or or who knows, could be any combination of things.. But one thing is for sure, its all written on the chart and if you learn to read the charts you can easy start to multiply your money.

The first reason is that 1% is manageable. Most cryptocurrencies are moving up and down by 1% every hour. The wild bull runs are hard to find, hard to time properly, and easy to go in the opposite direction where you lose a lot.
I love your excitement.. As for books, unfortunately there mostly all garbage and ihave read a ton of trading books. Nothing like learning direct from a fulltime trader who makes his living in the markets. Especially if that trader isn’t trying to sell you anything. The best people to learn from are those who don’t want anything from you because they are already successful on there own. I make plenty of money trading, I’m just happy to help others in my spare time 🙂
Just consider getting in on e.g. Auroracoin and then selling later. If you got in after the hype started and sold a little after it topped out, well, what was it, 8x value ? I didn’t even count any more :>
TIP: If you don’t understand the tax implications of trading cryptocurrency tread very carefully. There are some nasty traps you could fall into when trading coins. For one, they are not necessarily considered “like-kind assets.” If that is confusing, then consider sticking with trading USD for coins in Coinbase until you grasp the concept. The majority of cryptocurrency exchanges have a free a wallet along the ability to trade, but we suggest, that you don’t put all your cryptos in one place. This way you can minimize your risk of an exchange going broke (f.e. MT GOX), being scammed or getting hacked.
Now that you know what forex and cryptocurrency exchanges/brokers are. We wanted to present you a list of so-called cryptocurrency forex exchange hybrids – initially forex platforms, which now also offer crypto as a trading option:
Leave your ego aside. The goal here is not to be right on your trades, but to make a profit. Do not waste resources (time and money) to try to prove that you should’ve been entering that trade. Remember, there is no trader who never loses, at least sometimes. The equation is simple – get the total profits to be higher than the total losses.
