Formerly known as Bitx, Luno is a bitcoin exchange and wallet provider, they only offer bitcoin trading and ethereum trading. Launched in 2013, their reach is massive, currently serving traders in over 42 countries. It has a lot of similarities as Coinbase, however only sticking to bitcoin reduces its draw for traders however the fact that they cover so many countries is a selling point. The next bull run seems to be around the corner and there are odds that we can see it starting by mid of March. We did some research on how we will design our portfolio for this scenario and how we would spread our funds for it. This is more our long-term investment to exploit this upcoming bull run of Bitcoin. As we have seen many good coins tanking hefty within the last weeks, we stay very conservative in this approach. There are many undervalued coins and tokens out there, but look at the amount of ICOs popping up, look at the number of new projects hitting the markets – the total market cap increase is not in relation to the new coins and tokens, we can’t see enough money around to see the majority increase significantly. Actually, we expect a huge wipeout of several altcoins within the next months, so we stay on the safe road with the selected projects we invest in. We also filtered out projects where the price has been artificially pumped short-term with spread fake-news about never happening partnerships. This might be cool for some quick pump-and-dump-bucks, but we suspect it the legitimacy of the project in the long-term. Let’s go shopping!
Similarly, after starting Pure Investments back in September 2017, Miles got one of his first community members, who goes by the pseudonym SP on the Discord channel. When SP started, he put in $40,000. By January 2018, he had over $1 million (today it’s ~$800k due to the recent Bitcoin crash).
Yes you are correct – right now there is no hard wallet that can hold every coin. As for checking if a coin is based on ERC-20 tech, I don’t know of a fast way to do this, I normally just google individually, but there is probably a database out there somewhere. Happy trading amigo!
Bitmex is the leading bitcoin margin trading site. Users can trade cryptocurrency derivatives with up to 100x leverage. Pairs include BTC/USD, Yen, Monero, Ripple, Dash, and Ethereum. Bitmex CEO Arthur Hayes has used his experience as an equity derivatives trader for Deutsche Bank to design, build, and maintain exactly the type of platform that users are looking for. Granted that this platform is for experienced and seasoned traders. Beginners should avoid trading coins here without knowing the implied volatility risks.
Surprisingly, the SEC has some good guidance here. Even though they let Bernie Madoff get away with a massive pyramid scheme for a decade, despite someone telling them about it every year, they’re occasionally good for something! While, I’m not a big fan of the nanny-state accredited investor rules of the SEC that let’s only rich people invest as they see fit, nor of the “pattern day trader” rule that requires to you to have $25,000 minimum in order to day trade the traditional markets (which, by the way, does not apply to crypto markets…yet), there is some merit to the rules. Those numbers are arbitrary bullshit but I do agree with the sentiment that led to the creation of those laws.
I haven’t been as active day trading lately (since most of my funds are illiquid in angel investment opportunities) but its definitely possible to make a living as long as you follow the market closely and know when to walk away.
The exchanges where people trade digital currencies have also come under scrutiny from South Korean authorities. Bithumb, one of the biggest cryptocurrency exchanges in the world, said it was visited by tax officials this week.

“We believe now is a great time to offer an institutional-focused lending service because it will increase general liquidity in the marketplace, encourage new financial institutions to participate in a two-sided market and increase the working capital that companies use to scale their digital currency-centric businesses,” Genesis Capital said in a press release.
Many investors now recognize cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) as asset classes. Therefore, knowing the three ways to trade this cryptocurrency can be useful for Bitcoin investors (and can be applicable to other cryptocurrencies).

For example – Monero is a coin which focuses on absolute privacy. If you buy something or are for something online with Monero, it is impossible to trace the transaction. Monero is one of my favourite coins.
You want to be on the opposite side of this equation. This comes from doing research, following news feeds, trying to predict when some sort of information is going to be publicized, and the value is going to be inflated. You’ll want to buy before this increase, usually during a dip or correction. You then in tern should only sell when the value is higher then when you purchased. And that, my babies, is called a profit.
If you do trading , you would surely put up time and efforts with it. Staying up for computer for how many hours would be needed as long you are trading because you would really need to see the price movements. This is the hardest part of trading which is the guessing game, as we all know price are too volatile we really dont know on which way it would go thats why it really needs patience and good technical analysis.
The primary goal of these charts is to determine the general direction of the currency over a specified time period, and the prices at which you would be willing to buy and/or sell the currency before it takes a correction.
