I don’t know if it’s real but heard alot of big groups that secretly do organize pump and dumps, not sure though. But to answer your question, yes day trading is profitable in someway if you’re experience one and has the patience to do it. Day trading is not always profitable , you will encounter some of the time losses that you may want to quit in day trade. Experience alot of things from doing this, at first it was fun but in the long run it’s very tiring since I have to be updated about that certain coins i invested with and watching the market 8 – 12 hours straight or more.
Bitcoin and popular altcoins can be found on TradingView, through the free, real-time data of 25 exchanges. Cryptocurrencies are somewhat similar to precious metals, in that their creation is controlled and most have a cap on the amount of units, just like precious metals, which have limited minable amounts. One of our most popular chats is the Cryptocurrencies chat where traders talk in real-time about where the Cryptocurrency market is going.
While it’s not yet clear whether the reported memo will become immediate policy, the news indicates the continuing severe stance taken by China’s top regulators towards curbing cryptocurrency speculation and lowering perceived financial risk in the country.
First, Id like to say that anyone can have these kind of gains in Crypto land. And no, i didn’t mine any coins, and no, i wasn’t an early adopter of bitcoin, buying up coins when the price was under a dollar. Im just a trader, who fairly recently opened up a few accounts and transferred $300 into bitcoin then traded it up to over $50,000. There are so many great opportunities for anyone willing to pay attention to coin news, new coins, charts, and price action. You can find out what’s the hottest new Coin and jump in early. (steemit) You can track crypto news and see how the market reacts to bad or good news. (in crypto land news really affects the price, much more than regular stock trading) Or you can learn to read charts and price action, which is my specialty.
You can run a web search. First learn the indicators, then the patterns, and most importantly practice by looking at old charts and pick out the trends. Whenever you start trading keep a log of screenshots and your commentary/ forecasts. That’s the best way to get confident with using the charts IMHO. Oh yeah, and don’t fool yourself into thinking that the uptrend you buy into won’t go down! It will always go down! You’ll find that incremental gains are more reliable and profitable (most of the time)
Set Achievable Goals. We can’t emphasize this enough: Digital currency is not a get-rich-quick scheme. We suppose you can shoot for the moon if you’re a millionaire, but for the rest of us, this advice stands: Set a realistic plan of return on your investment, whether it’s 5%, 10%, 15% or so forth. And stick to it! It’s a young and very robust market, and it can be chaotic; don’t overreact, and stick to your long-term goals.
The other two currencies I would pay attention to are Ethereum (~40% the size of Bitcoin, also known as “Ether”), and the smaller and more volatile Ripple and Litecoin. Despite a smaller market cap, Litecoin enjoys higher trading volume than Bitcoin Cash and Ripple, likely because it’s one of the three currencies accepted by the #1 digital currency wallet, Coinbase.
Bitcoin and many other cryptocurrencies are opening the doors to a new type of digital money, which we think has the potential to someday become a leading currency of the world. At the moment, even the oldest of cryptocurrencies are still maturing and only time will tell where this genius invention is heading. From what we can tell, there is plenty room for advancement. At the same time, Bitcoin has already revolutionized the digital world.
Clarify “official”, that seems to me a rather hazy point you make in view of the nature of cryptocurrency. You don’t really buy that Lakota Nation story, do you? And – if you can – refrain from gracious titles such as “little”.
Also note : the MT4 platform calculates overnight rollover at 22:00 GMT and the rollover charge/credit is debited or credited to and from the trading account. On Wednesday at 22:00 GMT, overnight rollover fees are multiplied by three (x3) in order to compensate for the upcoming weekend.
Coinbase and Robinhood were founded around the same time about five years ago and are part of a small crowd of fintech startups with valuations exceeding $1 billion. Coinbase, one of the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchanges, makes money by charging the buyer and seller a fee. It’s easy to see why Robinhood wants in on the action. While Robinhood added more than 300,000 accounts in November and now has more than 3 million users, Coinbase has grown more rapidly, to more than 13 million as of late last year.
Well you will get my vote which in turn hopefully gives you money 🙂 not to mention possible YouTube incentives so it’s a win win! I really want to become a trader so I hope this gets me on the path, I’m very serious about it and want to teach others once I get going.
I am not a tax advisor. This is a simple overview of what I keep in mind as I trade. My accountant handles my taxes, and I advise you to get an accountant to do the same. Keep in mind that this is US-centric. You need to double check if this is the case in your country.
Shortly thereafter, the Chicago Board of Options Exchange (CBOE) followed, saying that it would be launching options on cryptocurrency derivatives, as investors are already looking at different ways to incorporate digital assets such as Bitcoin into their portfolios.
With many coins disappearing as fast as they emerge and a good helping of scams being run in the crypto world, the possibility of losing money is as real as Trump’s presidency. Ensuring you have enough money to live will increase your confidence, relaxing in the knowledge you have your bases covered if you blow your whole account balance.
yeah let’s encourage people to dump their money in some shady exchange trading a ‘currency’ that nobody uses. It is really stupid to expect having an edge with trading without spending at least more then a year full time learning how to do it.
The Swissquote Group is fully committed to meeting the highest standards of corporate governance and acts in compliance with the standards established by the “SIX Swiss Exchange Directive on Information Relating to Corporate Governance”.
Bitcoin is always going to be one of the best performing cryptocurrencies in the future to trade. Check out my blog for a guide for the best Bitcoin trading strategies in terms of timing since there’s a lot of volatility due to the hard fork.
1st thing, you should always expect that something could go wrong with a trade and therefor you always size your entry so that it wouldn’t hurt you too bad. Buy no more than 25% of your account in one position. That being said, if you learn to read charts, you will almost never have a bad trade, therefore on the rare occasion when it does turn the wrong way, you wont mind just taking the small loss and jumping into the next trade without hiccup. But yeah I will cover these topics in some videos, I’m writing a note right now, thanks for your topic suggestions. And Thank you very much for the vote!!
I applied for only one job as a software engineer. It was the kind of job people love – high salary, all the Silicon Valley benefits, friendly team, well funded company, challenging engineering problems. After three rounds of interview they decided not to move forward with me.
The report indicates that Pan is now seeking collaboration from both central and local authorities to investigate and subsequently block any domestic or foreign platforms that allow investors in China to participate in cryptocurrency trading.
On cryptocurrency mining: As noted, one way to invest in cryptocurrency is via cryptocurrency mining. That is a valid way to start investing if say you love computer gaming and need a new rig and want to invest in small amounts of cryptocurrency while maybe making back some of the cost of the rig (and maybe even breaking even) but that is an entirely different subject. The average investor will want to trade USD for cryptocurrency on an exchange and avoid the complexities and of mining. In all cases, unless you already have a good rig with a great graphics card, you’ll need to put down USD upfront anyway.
When someone buys cryptocurrency from a centralized exchange — I’m going to stick with Bitcoin (BTC) as an example — they swap fiat money for the nominated BTC. But that coin doesn’t get sent to the customer. If it’s bought from a non-exchange seller, then it comes into the exchange’s own wallet, and gets held there. A ledger entry is made, and the customer gets an IOU. If the seller is on the same exchange platform, no BTC even needs to be shifted, the exchange simply changes its accounts to note one less BTC for the seller, one more for the buyer.
The next bull run seems to be around the corner and there are odds that we can see it starting by mid of March. We did some research on how we will design our portfolio for this scenario and how we would spread our funds for it. This is more our long-term investment to exploit this upcoming bull run of Bitcoin. As we have seen many good coins tanking hefty within the last weeks, we stay very conservative in this approach. There are many undervalued coins and tokens out there, but look at the amount of ICOs popping up, look at the number of new projects hitting the markets – the total market cap increase is not in relation to the new coins and tokens, we can’t see enough money around to see the majority increase significantly. Actually, we expect a huge wipeout of several altcoins within the next months, so we stay on the safe road with the selected projects we invest in. We also filtered out projects where the price has been artificially pumped short-term with spread fake-news about never happening partnerships. This might be cool for some quick pump-and-dump-bucks, but we suspect it the legitimacy of the project in the long-term. Let’s go shopping!
really bad day for me in trade altcoin. since bitcoin increases, altcoin prices decline unexpected. I stuck a lot on altcoin. even two weeks without earning it really bad. I hope bitcoin prices drop soon, so altcoin given a breather to increase.

Of course, it is up to you, if you do decide to attempt day trading then be careful, test out with a small amount of your portfolio and avoid emotional stress. For me, you risk entering the world and mindset of a gambler. Just see if your day trading is outperforming your hold trading.
Hi and thanks for a no bullshit overview and beginner’s guide to Crypto. I’ve been doing my due diligence for a couple of weeks now before investing my hard-earned moolah. I’ve self-educated a good bit and I’m pretty much ready to rumble! Your info is the best, as it verifies what I’ve compiled from multiple sources Thanks
A ICO is an unregulated way through which new cryptocurrency ventures raise funds. ICOs are also known as Initial Coin Offering or Initial Public Coin Offering (IPCO) and are used by startups to avoid other painstaking and regulated ways of raising capital, which are required by banks or venture capitalists.
My general rule in buying Bitcoin on leverage is to buy the dip: you want to see red candles after a period of green candles on the charts. I like to buy at 10x leverage to start with. If the position trades into a nice profit I slide the leverage slider up to 50x or 100x. This has the effect of moving your Liquidation Price up and therefore securing profit.
Every now and again an investment would fly, I would skim some profits off and buy something new. I setup an account on an exchange and started building an index portfolio. I started buying up the top 20 coins which I thought had value and taking punts on smaller coins.
