As we’ve explained before, this is a cryptocurrency trading strategy that can be used trading all the important cryptocurrencies. Actually, this is an Ethereum trading strategy as much as it’s a Bitcoin trading strategy. If you didn’t know Ethereum is the second most popular cryptocurrency (see figure below).
I’d say Coinbase is the easiest way for newbies to buy Bitcoin because the site specifically caters to those who may not be all that familiar with cryptocurrencies. Admittedly, the fees are a little on the steep side compared to, say, LocalBitcoins and Kraken, but the good thing about using Coinbase is that you don’t have to worry too much about security.
Thanks for posting the article and super informative video! I just got into trading cryptocurrencies back in May. Started with Bitcoin & Ethereum but have recently made the cross over into trading alt-coins on Poloniex, Bittrex and Cryptopia. I’m interested to get into some swing trading and have a Coinigy account but find the site overwhelmingly complex. Your video really helped me understand what’s important in a trading platform and helping me to lay a good foundation. Thanks! 🙂
Day trading cryptocurrencies greatly differ from a typical long-term investing. And one can not approach it the same. Traders who focus on day trading can earn significantly since their profits are locked in daily. That means gains are made on prior gains (in addition to a first investment). So theoretically speaking a trading account can balloon tremendously. As a day trader, a big initial investment is not required from you in order to make a good profit. In case of a long-term investing you, however, need to put aside some serious money to make at least something from your investment. Many investors also like the idea to get into a trade, get out and at the end of the day not owning any cryptocurrency they have traded, just a good old fiat currency like dollars or euros. Owing to many traders rather choose to day trade cryptocurrencies. That being said, the risks associated with day trading are rather high, to minimize them we have created the following guide.
“Every bank and branch must carry out self-inspection and rectification, starting from today. Service for cryptocurrency trading is strictly prohibited. Effective measures should be adopted to prevent payment channels from being used for cryptocurrency settlement,” the central bank said.

The objective here is to identify mid-term trends using technical analysis. Here’s a great article outlining the finer details of swing trading strategies. Bear in mind that this method is probably just as risky as day trading.
You must remember your password or private key if you store your Bitcoin electronically or be sure you can recover your private key (the easier this is, the more prone your Bitcoin is to potential theft by hackers).
You will never do better than that, even if you manage it for a number of years. Eventually you’ll revert to the mean. That’s statistics baby. And math is God. It runs things around here and everywhere else.
While this may have been true two years ago, the space has changed considerably since then. More robust altcoins have popped up in the past year such as Ethereum that have a significant market cap. You can use tools like https://www.coinigy.com to aid your cryptocurrency trading. I would strongly advise against taking rules #2 and #3 literally.
BTCUSD update: New low made at 8342 which has taken price through the 9280 support and the 8659 reversal zone boundary as bearish momentum persists. Now that the market has made a decisive move, and compromised important levels, it is now reasonable to consider the possibilities of a range bound environment. As I wrote in previous reports, in order to go long, …
If you wish to buy Bitcoin via bank transfer on Coinbase, it can take up to five days which is a bit annoying. Although, if you do buy using a connected bank account, Coinbase charges a much lower fee for purchases – it’s 3.99% for credit/debit card purchases and only 1.49% for bank transfer purchase.
