I feel compelled to spread the word; cryptocurrency is an amazing chance to make a fuck ton of money with a relatively small investment. The problem is, the window is closing. Many coins have already doubled in value many many times, the more a coin doubles in value, the harder it gets for it to double again and you to make a tidy 100% on your portfolio…

Bitcoins have their own set of limitations that altcoins hope to solve. Some altcoins build new, useful features that Bitcoins do not offer. For example, Darkcoin is working toward creating a platform that will make the transactions completely anonymous. Whereas, some coins such as Mastercoin and CounterParty use Bitcoin’s blockchain to fully secure their own ecosystems. Likewise, every one of the available altcoins takes its unique approach to refining the concept of digital currencies.

Tailored specifically to the needs of institutional investors and professional traders, Coinbase’s Global Digital Asset Exchange (GDAX) is recognized as one of the world’s most trusted cryptocurrency exchanges. Coinbase is regulated under the New York Department of Financial Services BitLicense as well as 30+ state money transfer regimes. Through the GDAX platform, investors can trade Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum and Litecoin.

I applied for only one job as a software engineer. It was the kind of job people love – high salary, all the Silicon Valley benefits, friendly team, well funded company, challenging engineering problems. After three rounds of interview they decided not to move forward with me.

When you place a buy or sell order, Robinhood gives you an estimated price, connects to a slew of trading venues, exchanges, and market centers to find the lowest price, and uses its economies of scale to improve to score better prices over time. To counter market volatility, Robinhood puts a “collar” around your trade so if it can’t execute it at close to the estimated price, it waits for the price to return or lets you know.

The cryptocoins are then listed on exchanges after the successful launch. If it becomes popular, the value begins to rise fast. It can even rise from that $0.00005 to as much as $2 in short period of time. What would that translate to? If you buy $100 worth, it would simply give you 2 million coins and by the time the price rises to $2 per coin in a year or two, you will simply have 2 million coins x $2 and that gives you $4 million.

Disclosure: Several members of the Futurism team, including the editors of this piece, are personal investors in a number of cryptocurrency markets. Their personal investment perspectives have no impact on editorial content.

1. Initial investment- For me, I went in with 5k that I was ready to exchange for gaining in return research, knowledge and resources in trading and the crypto world. If all else fails, I can carryover into different markets i.e. stocks, forex, options, etc. albeit there will be learning curve of the nuances of each market.  Another thing to consider is there are schools of thought that say to start with paper trading, and others that say jump in and since you have money in the game you are more attentive and focused.

Coinbase/GDAX will want more personal information than you’ll feel comfortable giving them; there is no way around this. The more information you give them, ID, Bank account, credit card, etc., the higher your limit and the less restricted your account will be. Don’t let this scare you off from becoming a cryptocurrency investor. Every other exchange user went through this process; you have to also. Since you have to trust someone, Coinbase/GDAX is a good bet.

Here’s what’s Lisk all about: Most developers today rely on centralized giants, such as Google Play and the AppStore to put up their newly developed apps. These giants take much of the profits and attention from these apps, and Lisk believes all this should be going to the developers themselves. This is where its Javascript-based tech comes in. Lisk is incredibly exciting because it aims to offer a decentralized apps platform, one that actually favors the developers, and therefore gives them the bigger piece of the cake. Lisk was previously Crypti, and after proving itself on a community level, it was forked by Max Kordek and Oliver Beddows into Lisk, in 2016.

ICOs have become an easy, efficient way for companies or individuals to fund their projects. While at the same time, this fundraising technique has helped a lot of  businesses receive sizeable investments from other companies or individuals. ICOs generally happen when a new cryptocoin needs to be launched or a new blockchain-based project needs to take off; at such times, the raised funds are necessary for technical development.

A friend has recommended the Canadian exchange “Quadrigacx.com” for the sale of the main cryptos (including Bitcoin Gold). Surprisingly. they require NO verification for the cashing out of cryptos. Their interface is clear and simple.

Trades may be cancelled or reversed in the event the broker finds fault in its systems (price, etc.) or if it finds a client violates their particular account agreement with the said broker (agreements vary).

Unfortunately, if you’re in the US, Canada, Australia or most other parts of the world, you’ll be charged a bit more to withdraw funds. This is annoying because you’re effectively paying commission twice: once when you buy and once when you withdraw.

that’s such a shame, i’m sorry for you man. This world is really so fuckin ignorant. Some nice guy like you shares his wisdom gets screwed. thanks for all your videos, i have learned a lot from you.

What goes around, comes around :-). Luc is one of the selfless people that likes to share, thank God for people like him. And regarding sums: people, do not disclose how much you have or are making, as that will make you a target. Just enjoy Cryptoland, make some money for yourselves and your familes and try to have fun along the way. Peace.

Don’t do it. Crypto-trading is nearly 100% manipulated and only those in the know make real money long term. Insider trading, scams, schemes and corruption are all that await a new trader in this scene. My guess is that Altcoinplayer has been trading only a short while and doesn’t know what’s really going on.

This does not mean that you have to run now as the price recovered and then some. It just means that you have to be aware of the market like any day trading requires. This is not like buying Bitcoin forgetting about it and then just cash in and buy a car. You have to educate yourself, find the right broker and watch the markets and news for developments.

Trading with leverage in the cryptos is like juggling Cobras. Don’t fucking do it if you’re not a professional trader. The crypto markets move too fast and you can easily lose someone else’s money that you don’t have to pay back. Not good.

I haven’t been as active day trading lately (since most of my funds are illiquid in angel investment opportunities) but its definitely possible to make a living as long as you follow the market closely and know when to walk away.
