Simply, the OBV is a remarkable technical indicator that can show us if the real money is really buying Bitcoin or quite the contrary they are selling. What we want to see when Bitcoin is failing to break above a resistance level or a swing high and the Ethereum already broke is for the OBV to not only increase in the direction of the trend, but to also move beyond the level it was when Bitcoin was trading previously at this resistance level (see figure below).
Trading requires daily technical analysis and a sound understanding of trading platforms. I wouldn’t recommend this unless you’re experienced with eToro or an MT4 platform. That said, there are benefits to bitcoin trading. It gives you the option to quickly scale in and out of positions, and take profits at a desired price. When you trade bitcoin, you can take advantage of daily fluctuations in price. The CFD brokers used for trading are regulated, and your funds are arguably more secure than at an exchange like Coinbase. You will be charged spread (fee) on each trade, but you can execute a buy or sell order quicker. The biggest benefit to trading bitcoin is the limit – it’s far easier to open a $100,000 position at a CFD broker than go through stringent checks and buy an equivalent amount on Coinbase.
At first, it will not be profitable for you, for you will need to have ghe experience first, do not just follow the hype on social media or any other platforms that will advise you that a certain coin is going to be bullish, you need to also make your own research, there will be times that you will be greedy and then loose at the end, do not let this bring you down, you are trading to gain profits, and loosing is a part of it, and once you get a hang of it, you will can earn around 100-200 usd in one sitting, and it also depends on how much fund you have in your platform to determine your gains.
Don’t FOMO. This is a spot that people most frequently lose money on. A dash of manipulation, two tablespoons of media hype, a cup of CME and CBOE announcements, and a generous handful of FOMO drove Bitcoin prices from $10,000 to $20,000 in December. Since that time, Bitcoin fell to a low of $9,000 and is currently sitting at around $11,000. It’s easy to look back and say, “if only I waited one month, then I could’ve bought at $9,000 instead of waiting for Bitcoin to hit $20,000 again for me to break even.” But the reality is, the combination of 1) being greedy, 2) investing blindly, and 3) FOMO were likely large contributors to the purchase at an all-time-high. Even in the crazy world of cryptocurrency, if a coin pumps that quickly, it will correct — it’s a matter of time. Speculative pumps are almost always followed by dips. While trying to jump onto a train going full speed sounds like something straight out of a James Bond movie, I’m sure most of us can agree we would probably save some limbs if we just waited for it at the next stop.
I’m not long in crypto now, but I’ve found a strategy, based on a 6 month backtest it gets a 500% profit on ETC / ETH pair: https://steemit.com/gekko/@svenholm/500-profit-strategy-gekko-trading-bot CRYPTO FREEDOM!!
The reason that the results of my informal survey are confounding is that the correct answer is “0.” I suppose we should be happy that 30 percent answered correctly, but the fact that 50 percent chose “1 BTC less fees” shows confusion about how centralized exchanges work. 1
and this is exactly what I have been saying every time someone says don’t leave your funds on an exchange! you have to open up positions that you want to buy and then to sell and wait for them to get filled or buy at current price and then wait for some time and sell based on how market shapes up but you never stay there watch your monitor all day long.
This method uses exterior events to read into the future movement of a currency. For example, say a newly published report states that X is a huge problem in 2018 — is there a new cryptocurrency that can solve this issue? If so, it is probably undervalued, and is likely to rise in price. Ka-ching!
On top of that, the cryptocurrency market travels at lightspeed compared to other markets. New coins enter the market on a daily basis (in 2016, there were about 550 different coins, today there are about 1,500), and each one has news every day. I’m not doubting your ability to consume and analyze news, but that level of information bombardment will always be more effectively consumed as a group. In these communities, you’ll see members link news and relevant articles about coins you’ve invested in and coins you’ve never heard of. The community will definitely expand your knowledge much faster than doing it all yourself.
This is all fun and peachy, but how exactly are all the transactions made by Bitcoin users kept in check? Well, luckily Satoshi Nakamoto thought of a rather ingenious way to handle transactions and making them all transparent at the same time.
Guys, try with coinsign.com, they do bank wire for high end investors, they dont have any limits of any, the verification is very simple and fast, and they have very nice notification emails to each step of the purchasing. i mean i have made few transaction with big amounts, send it via SEPA, and it hits after 24h. the conversion went very fast and i have received it to my wallet. there are many like me that are looking for bank wire solution for high amounts, so far i didnt have any issues. worth trying them.
There is also risk inherent to the exchange itself. Just like the cash in your wallet, the safety of your bitcoins or other currencies depend on your own diligence. While your bitcoins cannot disappear, the transactions are permanent and can only be refunded by the recipient. This means you should only do business with people and organizations you know and trust, or who have an established reputation.
This is the most comprehensive guide I’ve ever seen! I just tried to sign up but they have suspended all bitcoins in Hawaii (or something like that, they said I’m not allowed to get it because it’s not allowed in the state of Hawaii). That’s too bad. Do you have any other advice in investing somewhere else, like a stock market or in gold directly?
Initial Coin Offerings (ICOs) powered by the Ethereum blockchain platform are the hottest thing going right now, but are they secure, On July 24, 2017, the second Ethereum ICO hack in a week hit the news, as digital wallet firm Veritaseum disclosed to Bleeping Computer that a hacker stole…
While the Chinese government ordered banks to stop financing cryptocurrencies and processing payments for local cryptocurrency investors, the hype of Blockchain technology and cryptocurrency has not dematerialized. In fact, China-based have started to see an increase in demand, and local conglomerates have started to form partnerships with foreign blockchain projects.
