Not only exchange locations but exchanges abilities to keep their trading functionality working is also another factor when looking at their volume. Binance, for example, recently stopped its trading services to update its systems. During that period, volumes were obviously completely down, however now they’re back, they sit second for the highest volume in the last 24 hours according to coinmarkepcap.com.
Run profits Cut Losses is hard to do exactly. In my P&L Sheet I focus on the 7d (Price Change over 7 days) to decide whether to re-allocate my portfolio according to this rule. I largely ignore 1 h and even 24 h .
For non-US clients, Swissquote – a major forex brokerage/bank in Switzerland – has teamed up with Bitstamp to offer actual deliverable Bitcoin. And Japan-based GMO Click Holdings, another one of the largest forex brokers by volume, has launched its GMO Coin offering for Bitcoin investors.
Analyse historical price charts to identify telling patterns. History has a habit of repeating itself, so if you can hone in on a pattern you may be able to predict future price movements, giving you the edge you need to turn an intraday profit. For more details on identifying and using patterns, see here.
Ethereum’s technology is already being used by super-popular projects around the world, showing great success, and offering a glimpse of a stable crypto future. I love Ether and hold a significant percentage of my portfolio in Ether.
The cryptocurrency market is outrageously speculative right now and just about everyone has an opinion on how prices will move, or the value of a coin. Trades made on the basis of false information can lead to big losses, and this is something every new trader will be exposed to.
For a lazy investor, building a Cryptocurrency portfolio is perfect – spread your investment across 5 – 20 coins, protect your investment properly (more on that in a moment), and then just sit back and wait a couple of years.
Margin Trading: You are allowed to use coins from peer-to-peer margin funding providers. This means, that you can borrow buying/selling power, but you need to allocate some funds (=margin) which won’t be accessible until you return the lent coins.
Another thing I need to make clear is the type of trading I do – day trading. My base currency is Bitcoin, which I use to buy Altcoins like Ethereum, ZCash, Golem, etc. When I make a trade to buy an Altcoin with BTC, I could end up selling the Altcoin back for BTC within a matter of minutes or hours. All of my profits are converted back into BTC at the end of each trading day.
The semiconductor business of Samsung is thriving. The other day, the firm surpassed Intel as the key chipmaker in the globe. However, the South Korean company is not on comfort zone, and is presently planning to advance to cryptocurrency mining, which is the most active modern market for processors. TechCrunch stated that Samsung has established […]
Understand blockchain – You don’t need to understand the technical complexities, but a basic understanding will help you respond to news and announcements that may help you predict future price movements. It is essentially a continuously growing list of secure records (blocks). Cryptography secures the interactions and then stores them publicly. They serve as a public ledger, cutting out intermediaries such as banks.
Coinbase, for example, has an Instant Buy option but you must use a credit or debit card so the transaction can be authenticated instantly and they charge 3.99% per purchase, rather than the usual 1.49%.
This is all fun and peachy, but how exactly are all the transactions made by Bitcoin users kept in check? Well, luckily Satoshi Nakamoto thought of a rather ingenious way to handle transactions and making them all transparent at the same time.
Simply put, whenever a user sends a certain amount of Bitcoins to another user, a third user verifies this transaction and publicly notates it in a ledger which is accessible by anyone. This ledger is called the “blockchain.” As time goes on, more and more users see the transaction in the blockchain and are able to verify it again. The more times each transaction is verified, the more secured it becomes.
Volumes indicate the liquidity of an asset. The greater the liquidity the easier it is to buy and sell, even when there is turmoil, and the lower the Bid-Offer spread and therefore the cost of trading. You want to avoid assets with tiny liquidity as when the shit hits the fan it will be costly to exit. Bitcoin has world-class liquidity. I run a crypoasset analysis site named Blocklink.info. Here is a screen-grab of the most liquid assets in the world.
At this point I still owned Ethereum and the price was still swinging back and forth. Since I needed an income and didn’t want to get a job, it was time to try this trading idea. But I set a strict requirement that if I didn’t earn enough money to pay my rent after a month, I’d quit trading.
Because the Wolf has in-your-face persona that rubs many people the wrong way. He loves to stick it to people who say he’s wrong. Any time he posts a call, people are quick to pounce on him and call him an idiot, a douchebag and a shill hucking trading calls. They want him to fail.
So… I was thinking I could post some charts here, on steemit, and try to explain what’s going on and how to read them. Also i will post short videos and share my screen so that you can see what I see and I can go even a little more in depth with the charts.
Coinbase’s rates are relatively low if you pay via a connected bank account (although the downside is this can take up to five days). When you buy via bank transfer, Coinbase usually charges a 1.49% commission on Bitcoin purchases (this varies slightly depending on what country you are in).
