How do you qualify your bases? I know you need a bounce of 10% or more and when I am marking up charts that are past I can nail it almost every time but when I actually trade I seem to miss. Any help you can give me? Maybe a specific video to watch? Thanks!
Bitcoin QT is a desktop solution with privacy and security features. It is a stable system and it supports complete transparency. Its main downside is that it consumes a lot of memory and space on your computer. Multibit, on the other hand, is a lightweight version of the Bitcoin client and as such, does not consume as much space and memory.
Yeah … I’m going to +1 this. I’ve lost some money (not on an outright scam) in this arena. There are some very interesting developments (Ethereum, Cryptonote) that I believe will effect the future. But 99.95% of this place is crawling with people who are in the know long before the news hits who are guaranteed to no lose money.
This mega-powerful currency has not only opened the gate for other currencies, but also leads the cryptocurrency world with pride. It is governed to make sure no extra Bitcoin is produced, as a maximum quantity of 21 Million Bitcoin units was agreed. When introduced, the price of $1 was 1,309 BTC. The wheel has turned, and when Bitcoin breached the $2,000 barrier in 2017, meaning 1 BTC was worth $2,000, it was certainly a meaningful milestone to Satoshi Nakamoto, the creator of Bitcoin.
Since many of the uses are still in the shadow it is perceived as a way to stay under the radar for less kosher deals, it needs to become a legit means of payment for everyday life and business to succeed.
Consider the situation now. What will be the source of your special insight into crypto prices and trends? The web is now ubiquitous and there seem to be no particularly arcane sources of info. (One exception though: listen to fresh cryptocurrency podcasts and immediately buy anything that’s mentioned (not investment advice, just a theoretical proposal). Another exception: actually understand the technology, and judge what is sound rather than hyped.).
In closing, I hope this info helps clear up some common mistakes I see new traders make. Not only that, I don’t often see these issues addressed. Even worse, I see “tips” about how to day trade that are totally the opposite of some of the advice I am giving here.
What’s up traders, straight into the analysis! Here we are analyzing XRP/USD on the 1D chart. We have been keeping a close eye on Ripple recently, as price peaked after a corrective move on 18th January 2018 at 1.6850. Since then, price has begun trading within a descending resistance structure. At current, price is trading at 0.7760, whilst approaching a …
Once you have some basic theoretical knowledge, you are ready to start putting theory into practice, without risk. Signing up to a demo brokerage account allows you to make trades in real-time, but with fake cryptocurrency. Sure, you might as well be trading Monopoly money, but this is a risk-free way of gaining valuable experience as a day trader. You will quickly develop strategies; seeing what wins and loses will prepare you to start winning on the (real) market.
So how do you know if you should invest in an ICO? It’s not about science, it is important to pay attention to the level of seriousness of the project and its team. Look for the project’s website (does it look like a child has built it during computer school?), Who is the team behind the project – Are they hiding behind nicknames or proudly present themselves on their website? Pay attention to the Bitcointalk thread (does it exist at all?) and how the team members respond to technical questions. Is there a large community behind the project? Expect to see a Slack gathering its community. Watch out the amount raised: A project which had raised too little will probably will not be able to develop over time, a project which had raised huge amount – there won’t be enough investors left out there to buy coins on exchanges. And most importantly is risk management. Never put all eggs in one basket and invest too much of your portfolio in one ICO.
In my opinion, to be successful in day trading, you need more capital and more experience on average because cryptocurrencies are more volatile and some of them do not have enough liquidity. also believe a lot more trading “intuition” is needed.
It’s definitely possible but you have to be able to recognize opportunities regardless of market behavior. The market moves relative to the price of BTC.. so even if BTC is in a down trend you can make money by purchasing altcoins that are oversold by trading the altcoin-to-BTC ratios. Sure, your purchasing power in USD may be lower but as long as your purchasing power in BTC is still increasing you’ll be ok.
That said, be wary of the speculative and unregulated nature of cryptocurrency news. Between Reddit, Steemit, Twitter, Telegram and mainstream media outlets, there are vast discrepancies in the quality of information and plenty of outright falsehoods. In time, you will develop your own understanding of what is credible; and what to take with a grain of salt.
Welcome friends, to this one-of-a-kind, masterful analysis, brought to you by the magician of the charts! I’ve got to get this out quick, because the breakdown is starting to happen. You can see that LTC is in a bear flag, after falling out of a triangle formation. The height of the triangle suggest a full potential correction down to the 137.50 area. The height …

I was considering learning how to day-trade so that I can profit from price fluctuations of Bitcoin, Litecoin, Ethereum, Ripple and Bitcoin Cash. I feel that I can make a lot more money than trading stocks or commodities because the fluctuations are so much greater.
Bitcoin is a global currency. It is not tied to any state, and therefore it can be considered in some measure independent. Of course, it is influenced by events that occur in the world. For example, if in some country there is a depreciation of the local currency or if Greece takes another loan, then you can be sure that BTC will change its course a little. The crisis of 2013 greatly affected the cost of BTC. It was then in Cyprus (a significant offshore zone) introduced control over bank accounts. Account holders decided to pay attention to BTC because this currency cannot be controlled;
Unless you’re putting in a great amount of money, you’ll only be gaining small margins because of transaction fees and taxation. Besides, as crypto has proven itself to be growing, there is really no reason to day trade instead of HODL. All you’re doing is bringing much more stress into your life in the hopes of gaining slightly more than you would have gained otherwise.
They need to be more save then regular currencies and remain this for a longer period of time. When Ethereum, was hacked which made a damage of around 50 million dollars. It hurt then entire Cryptocurrency world.

Why? Because the people that didn’t cash out during the pump (called “bag holders”) don’t want to sell their coin at the bottom, at a much lower price. It goes without saying that if the price of a coin you’ve bought moves upward quickly, it’s best to cash out, back into Bitcoin. And If it’s a good coin that you want to invest in for the long term, make sure you buy back in after a dump. Sometimes it is better to focus on accumulating good coins rather than making more Bitcoin, because a good coin will always rise again.
