Well that’s true for professional traders, or say someone who is trading with large amount and expects a profit everyday it’s his job. But with casual traders, someone like me, they don’t usually set a goal or anything just trade with small amounts and hope you gain some profit at end of day.
Put simply, a cryptocurrency lets its users transfer funds almost instantly. A digital currency does not rely on a third party, and that successfully lowers the transaction fees. However, over many years, cryptocurrencies like Litecoin, DASH, TenX, Binance, VeChain, Digibyte, Waves, Siacoin, Monacoin, MaidSafe and many more have moved well beyond the core component of being a traditional currency and have built robust platforms for allowing the users to even transfer real-life assets including real estate and cards. Every cryptocoin uses a powerful blockchain for executing these transactions and recording them.
Sadly, with the demise of Cryptsy there is a need for a new major first-rate cryptocurrency exchange (aka altcoins). Having many medium-sized cryptocurrency exchange sites is a better situation than having one large amazing option. Bittrex (new account creation temporarily disabled) has now replaced Poloniex as the largest most amazing option. Its platform is functional enough to have attracted tens of millions of new customer every month. Things feel smooth when using Bittrex. All big and small trading pairs are offered and it is now possible to do cryptocurrency margin trading on major altcoins. This is a cool feature, but use it with caution as leveraged trading has a certain risk factor. Keep in mind that some of the best bitcoin exchange sites also do altcoins. Yobit, Bittrex, Cryptopia and Changelly, are great options worth checking out. Some even offer short selling on major coins.
Even if you’re a good trader, you’re not immune to this kind of mental insanity. If you think you are, that’s another magical belief. As I wrote this article, I made not one but two stupid BTC trades and busted out trying to catch today’s insane $600 a coin rally late.
SEOUL (Reuters) – South Korea’s government said on Thursday it plans to ban cryptocurrency trading, sending bitcoin prices plummeting and throwing the virtual coin market into turmoil as the nation’s police and tax authorities raided local exchanges on alleged tax evasion.

However, not every altcoin is a substitute or modification of Bitcoin. That means there are some altcoins that are not derived from Bitcoin’s open-source protocol; instead, they have created their own protocol and blockchains. Some examples of such altcoins comprise Ripple, NXT, Ethereum, Omnicoin, CounterParty, and Waves. Every altcoin has its own blockchain, wallets, and miners.
Margin-trading is available on most of the Top 10: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash, Ripple, Dash, Litecoin, Ethereum Classic, Monero, ZCash. Note that the BTC trade is priced against the USD, but these altcoin contracts are priced against Bitcoin.
Adaptive dynamic ping-pong. It adapts price to match in the top of order book with various conditions. Even a newbie can trade on default preset. I’m keeping a close eye on the situation and will be updating this post when Binance and other major exchanges reopen their doors. In the meantime, check out my ultimate guide to trading Crypto on Binance to get your head round how to send Bitcoin from Coinbase to an exchange.
We see the cryptotrading as a great opportunity to make good money. Many coins quadruple their value in less than a week. Though you always need to be cautious, because there are lots of fake coins, pump & dumps, schemes and ponzis.
Bitcoin is easily the most recognized cryptocurrency and is also by far the most highly valued at the moment. However, it’s far from the only digital coin available for trading. There are already dozens of cryptos selling for over USD $1 and even more that go for pennies (though the latter are likely not worth your attention quite yet).
Day trading, whether in cryptocurrencies or anything else for that matter, doesn’t guarantee that you will become an instant millionaire. While such successes aren’t beyond the realm of possibility, there are many factors and challenges that must be taken into account when defining a day traders real salary.
However, it is impossible to give the exact figure of users because of the possibility of some holders owning several wallets and the fact that some bot accounts may also be in existence. Whatever the case, one thing is certain: the number of Bitcoin transactions is on a steady increase.
A lot of you have asked me whether trading bitcoin is better than buying it. The answer depends on your goals, and experience of bitcoin trading. If you’re looking to hold bitcoin as a long-term investment and check the price intermittently, it’s better to buy bitcoin. This way you benefit from a small, one time exchange fee and the assurance that you hold a physical bitcoin in your wallet which can be spent at various retail stores.
So, Any thoughts about bit panda? My friends are trying to convince me to open an account there but after some research, I find a lot of different opinions… bitemycoin.com/cryptocurrency-exchanges/bitpanda-review/ says it’s one of the best, your comparison puts it in the middle, and bittrust.org/bitpanda shouts: IT’S A SCAM !! What’s your opinion?
“The traditional way of sharing documents with collaboration is to send a Microsoft Word document to another recipient, and ask them to save the document, make revisions to it, and send it back. The problem with this scenario was that you needed to wait to receive a return copy before you could see or make changes to the document. You are locked out of editing it until the other person is done with it. That’s how banks work today—they maintain money balances and transfer money by briefly locking access to the account (or decreasing the balance) while they make the transfer, then they update the other side, then re-open access (or update the balance).
It is too stressful. Medium to long term holding is working for me and giving me the returns I need for the lifestyle I want to live. Why do I want to get into the stress of entry and exit points, watching the markets continually?

Once you’ve bought and sold a few bitcoin on Coinbase, you should graduate to the big leagues. Coinbase’s more advanced trading platform is called the Global Digital Asset Exchange (GDAX). It uses the same login and password as Coinbase, and you can easily transfer currency between the two platforms, which is really convenient. The GDAX features a pretty interface with real-time pricing data, order book, charting tools, trade history, and a simple buy/sell order process so you can at least pretend to be a pro.
Trading requires daily technical analysis and a sound understanding of trading platforms. I wouldn’t recommend this unless you’re experienced with eToro or an MT4 platform. That said, there are benefits to bitcoin trading. It gives you the option to quickly scale in and out of positions, and take profits at a desired price. When you trade bitcoin, you can take advantage of daily fluctuations in price. The CFD brokers used for trading are regulated, and your funds are arguably more secure than at an exchange like Coinbase. You will be charged spread (fee) on each trade, but you can execute a buy or sell order quicker. The biggest benefit to trading bitcoin is the limit – it’s far easier to open a $100,000 position at a CFD broker than go through stringent checks and buy an equivalent amount on Coinbase.
Bisq (aka “Bitsquare”) is not to be missed for the more technically advanced. A decentralized p2p platform that keeps you super safe. Over 60 crypocurrencies can be traded and you can even purcahse btc using a bank transfer, escrow, & trusted 3rd parties.
I don’t care much about Altcoin bull runs where the price dramatically increases 15-20% in a few hours. Those aren’t the patterns I am looking for when I trade. fact, if i see a chart like this I almost always ignore it:
Opportunities – based on your research you should be able to spot investment opportunities and gauge participation based on risk vs reward. Often times grinding out small, low risk moves (such as running arbitrage) can be just as lucrative as catching a big move. Knowing price trends in terms of BTC and USD is vital… sometimes gains can be made in BTC but not USD and visa versa.
Gatecoin is a regulated digital currency exchange focused on security, reliability and cost-efficient transfers. They also provide other related services such as prepaid debit cards, merchant and remittance solutions.
The China-based cryptocurrency exchange began live trading in July 2017, so is fairly new to the crypto exchange world. However it has proven itself thus far to its clients, with its robust charting software and both basic and advanced interfaces attracting novice and expert traders. We’ve written an in depth analysis of Binance.
Fortunately, many exchanges have developed the ability to place limit orders and stop orders. This means that you can decide what you want to do, buy or sell, when a currency hits a certain price ahead of time and have your order ready to go. Limit orders give you a lot of flexibility to plan ahead and get some sleep, even if you expect movement in markets overnight. For example, you may purchase a currency at $20 toward the end of your trading day and then place a limit order to sell when it hits $21 if you expect it to rise overnight. Of course, if you’re worried about losing your investment, you could also place a limit order to sell at $19 if it dips. If either of those things happens, the trade will take place automatically, even while you are sleeping.
The Relative Strength Index (RSI) is an indicator that measures the speed and change of incremental price movements, while also determining when an asset is overbought or indeed oversold. The RSI oscillates between 0 and 100 and is considered overbought when it is higher than 70, and oversold when it is lower than 30. However, in strong trends, which are very common in cryptocurrencies, the RSI may remain overbought or oversold for long periods of time.
Great question! Many of those who contact me through my chat window are hoping to enter the wider cryptocurrency markets or transfer their funds elsewhere. So, now were going to learn how to transfer your coins from Coinbase.
This is one of the most important cryptocurrency tips. By looking at the number of wallets vs the number of active wallets and the current trading volume, you can attempt to give a specific currency a current value. You can then make informed decisions based on today’s market price. The more accurate your predictions, the greater your chances for profit.
Chart Your Course. We mean this literally here; follow the trends of the market over time, and learn how to read and interpret charts such as those offered at Bitcoin Wisdom. By all means, track your investment in real time, but don’t make knee-jerk decisions based on momentary fluctuations. It’s always wise—no matter where you have your money invested—to buy and sell based on long-term data.
The Wolf is a fast, aggressive trader and that matches nicely with my personal style. His calls regularly make me tons of money. A question you have to ask of all traders is “are they right?” Nobody is right all the time. In fact, even the best of the best are wrong more than they’re right. The greatest traders make their money on 20% of their trades. The rest of our trades make only modest gains or loses.
